Very friendly staff and delicious food. It was a cold day and they very kindly lit the fire for us.
We did not stay here, but had dinner one evening while travelling through the area. The Inn is welcoming with good food. Lots of locals enjoying dinner with their families. Would love to visit again some day.
Popped in for food as we were on a stop over from Cornwall. Food was tremendous and reasonably priced too. Had the Lamb shank and it was a huge portion. Partner had the Blackened cajun chicken and hers was lovely too. In a great location and the staff were great too. Fantastic!
Stopped here for lunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Best pub in the area.
Really good meal on Sunday and excellent value, Swordfish and Fish Pie. Def will return. Great service, friendly landlord, huge portions could not eat it all, which was a shame.
As a family, we have eaten here many times over the years. We keep coming back as it's traditional and food has always been excellent and the staff work hard to meet your needs. Never had to wait for food and the menu is extensive and also specials to choose from. The price is good value plus a good range of ales and lagers. We will continue to return.
Went for a dinner only and it was really nice.Had the cheese and red onion flan (vegetarian) and it tasted delicious. Size of the portion was generous as well. Service very friendly
